Faith in Action

We are Called to Love and Serve 

In our baptismal covenant as Christians, we are called to seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbor as ourselves and to strive for justice and peace among all people. At the Cathedral, we live out our baptismal covenant by putting our faith into action. This looks like volunteering at Bethlehem Emergency Shelter, visiting the sick through our Pastoral Care Ministry, making baby blankets for newborns in Yarns of Love, partnering with New Bethany Ministries to offer services to our neighbors, advocating for a more just and compassionate world through Community Activism, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community at PRIDE, and taking care of one another by bearing each other's burdens. Our faith is more than a Sunday morning event, it is an active practice of following Jesus.
